How do I pay?
Payment is processed through a client portal. If you didn’t onboard yourself via the instant quote button on the website, an account will be created for you after speaking with a Scoops Pet Waste Removal representative. Your login information will be sent via email. The sign-up process is quick, taking under two minutes. Inside your portal, you’ll find copies of all paid invoices, records of past cleanups, and a secure place to link your credit/debit card. Once linked, invoices will be generated and paid on your behalf, and receipts will be sent to you.
Note:
Your card must be linked to your account before the first cleanup. If it’s not connected, an attempt to contact you will be made. If there’s no response, the cleanup will be rescheduled for the next available date, which could be weeks away depending on the season. For help linking your card, call 256-862-3274
Do you bill monthly?
Yes. Billing occurs on the 1st of each month before services are provided. Payments for initial or one-time cleanups are due upon completion.
Note:
You’ll be billed for the remainder of the month along with the initial cleanup if beginning recurring services. The next payment is due on the 1st of the following month.
---
Example:
John signed up for weekly cleanups starting with an initial cleanup on 3/15/2022, followed by cleanups every Tuesday. He is paying $80 per month for weekly services.
The initial cleanup rate is $100. On the first cleanup (3/15/2022), John is billed for both the initial cleanup and the remainder of March’s cleanups.
- Initial Cleanup: $100
- Remaining March Cleanups (3/22, 3/29): $40
- Total Charged on 3/15/2022: $140
Next Payments:
- 4/1: $80 (Recurring Cleanups)
- 5/1: $80 (Recurring Cleanups)
- 6/1: $80 (Recurring Cleanups)
If payment isn’t received before the first cleanup of the month, service will be paused until payment is processed. Monthly-billed services are non-refundable; if you cancel, cleanups will continue through the end of the month if needed.

What time will you be at my home?
A precise timeframe can’t be provided on scoop days, as routes are optimized for efficiency. Cleanups are scheduled from around 7 a.m. to dusk. You’ll receive a text notification about 60 minutes before arrival. If you’re the first stop, you may receive a 15-30 minute notice instead. Your scoop day will remain consistent each week, with advance notice given if it ever changes.
---
Do I have to be home for a cleanup?
No, being home isn’t necessary. Just ensure easy access to the gate. Cleanups can also occur with friendly dogs in the yard. A photo of the closed gate will be sent to your email once the cleanup is completed.
Note: If this will be the first time meeting your dogs and you’ll be home, please let me know if you’ll introduce them. I want to avoid startling anyone.
---
What if my service day is on a holiday?
If your service day falls on a major holiday, that week’s cleanup will be skipped, and the following week will be a double cleanup. Regular charges apply, as there will be two weeks of accumulated waste.
---
Do you disinfect the equipment?
Yes! Equipment is disinfected after each cleanup with an organic, kennel-grade solution to prevent germ spread.
